Subleasing a 1 bedroom apartment
Permalink

Hi,

I am subleasing a 1 bedroom apartment. The location of apartment is 2 miles north of campus. The rent is $445/month without utility. Average utility fee (water, electric, and gas) is around $50/month. Internet will be free for the next few months. When the free period is up, it will be $15/month. Move in date is flexible, the sooner the better. The lease will end in sept 2011, and if you wish to extend your stay, you could sign a new lease with Oxford. For subleasing, no signing of contract is required with the landlord, and I will be only asking for some simple contact information along with signing of a "sublease agreement" paper which could be found on OSU-off-campus housing website. No deposit required.

As of the environment, Cota bus stop is right below the apartment, and you could take no.2 cota bus to campus, an average of 10 to 13 mins ride. Great for international students who do not own a car. Also, No.2 comes often enough so do not worry if you miss the previous bus, because the next one will come soon. There are also restaurants (McDonald, wendy, subways, aladdin, lavash, starbucks, cup o joe and etc) in walking distance. For international students, there is a great restaurant just right across the street called Cornerstone, owned by an asian boss, and they have great "Wok" asian style food. Furnitures are also included, bed, futon, tables/ chairs, shelve, lamps and etc. Grocery stores, both asian and american, are also in walking distances. Kroger is 4 mins away and Crestview asian market (东方) is 10 mins away. If you wish to go to Giant eagle, it is a less than 5 mins ride of No.2. The other two asian markets, YouLee and FourSeas are also close by. This is also a great deal for anyone who likes to cook, because most kitchen-wares and appliances will be provided. Please contact me if interested, my number is 614-329-4766 or email me at limweihuan@gmail.com

P.s. The apartment has a really cool "Sun room" which also make a great store room or for hanging wet clothes after laundry.

Sincerely,
Lim Wei Huan
