We've enjoyed getting to know a new student from China this fall and we mentioned taking a trip to the Amish country, a little over an hour from Columbus.  It is fun to go on a weekend if possible, while we still have a little fall left with us.   We normally stop at several Amish homes.  One Amish family has a bakery in their home.  Another family raises eggs---I have never seen eggs that are so LARGE in my entire life.  There is another Amish market where all sizes of pumpkins are sold, and Amish buggy rides are available.  There is also a huge Amish flea market for shopping and hours are needed to see everything!  We are talking about spending the night at a bed and breakfast where the owners have bonfires on cool weekend evenings.  Would anyone like to join us for this trip?  Please e-mail Karen at TWEETYCCC@aol.com.  It should be great fun :)
