When I first moved to Columbus, there were many restaurants on campus I wanted to try. Here are 2 of my favorites:
Hounddogs Three Degrees Pizza The service is not good, and the place is dark and sometimes unclean, but if you want take-out, it doesn't matter! I actually like that it feels a little dark and seedy. Here it is on the map.
El Vaquero This place has excellent Mexican food, very fast service and is reasonably priced. Also, when other places tend to be packed, sometimes this spot is not, which is great on gamedays! Here it is on the map.
What places have you discovered???

This place is good, Aladdin's Eatery. They serve fresh Lebanese food. If you like hummus, this place is like heaven for you! Here is the website: www.aladdinseatery.com
Also, if you like cake, their desserts look really delicious. My wife also really likes this kind of food, but it may not be for everyone.
They accept Buck ID as well.

I like "Ali Babas" at 1950 N High St. It's Mediterranean... good prices, GREAT food!
I've never been there. I would like to try it out. I remember someone was mentioning this place.

I've not been to Ali Babas, but I have been to Lavash -- also on High Street but just north of campus. Aladdin's Eatery is amazing, but for a less formal atmosphere Lavash is also terrific. I think the prices are quite reasonable and the desserts are tasty as well (I tried one of their cupcakes......it was perfect).
Seems like this thread is being dominated by the Mediterranean spots! What's up with that?
I absolutely LOVE Panera Bread. The closest location to the OSU campus is the corner of High St and 11th St.
The food is awesome, is healthy, is delicious, is...simply GOOD! And the service is wonderful as well.
